They have created such a welcoming, supportive environment where everyone is treated like family. When our family was sick, they even sent us a card—such a small gesture, but one that says so much about the kind of people they are. Our son Theo started at TKE about a year ago when he was 4½, and the growth we’ve seen in him has been incredible. Martial arts has helped him develop so much more confidence, discipline, self-control, and motivation. Most importantly, he absolutely loves going! KJN Russ truly has a gift for working with children. He knows how to make classes fun while still setting high expectations and getting results. He brings out the best in the kids, and the genuine respect they have for him is so apparent. TKE also goes far beyond martial arts classes. They offer so many events and activities outside of class that keep families involved and create a real sense of community. They’ve built something really special here, and we feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of the TKE family. We couldn’t recommend them more highly!
navdeep brar2026-08-12We have had a wonderful experience with TKE Martial Arts! My 4-year-old son Arjun Brar really enjoys going every week and looks forward to learning something new. I especially love that the program teaches children about a different country each week while combining learning with martial arts, movement, discipline, and fun. The instructors are patient, caring, and great with young children. It has been wonderful to see my child build confidence, learn to listen and follow directions, and develop new skills in a fun and positive environment. We are very happy with TKE Martial Arts and highly recommend it to other parents!

In the beginning, I was a bit hesitant because my son was 5 years old and wasn't sure it his attention span would be a problem. Lucky, Russ and his staff has the patience to teach every single kiddo that steps foot in those mats and it was the best decision ever. Russ and his staff at TKE has showed my son discipline, respect and integrity. My son is now an orange belt due to his hard work and the instructors.
